The Surgical Abortion

Surgical Abortion

The surgical abortion is one of the most common surgeries performed in Canada with a complication rate of less than 1%.

The surgical abortion is 5-8 minute procedure performed by a doctor at the clinic. The surgical abortion requires very little recovery time allowing women to return to usual daily activities the next day.

Consultation

Consultation

All patients of Brampton Women's Clinic choosing to have a medical or surgical abortion will meet with a counsellor before the procedure.

During this time, the counsellor will discuss your options with you, review the abortion process, and offer contraceptive counselling to help you make the best and most informed choice for you.
