Important Message to our clients and community
regarding COVID-19

I am writing in regards to the COVID-19 global pandemic and its impact on our services at Brampton Women’s Clinic.

We remain open and our clinic is taking special measures to ensure we continue to provide abortion services while keeping our clients and staff safe. As a medical facility, we are closely monitoring guidelines from Public Health of Ontario, Ontario Medical Association, Peel Public Health and the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario.

Patient Screening

You will be asked specific questions when you book your appointment about your health, travel history and close contact with someone infected by COVID-19.

Please be sure you are answering truthfully to protect yourself, other patients and our staff.

If you are sick with any COVID-19 symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath, diarrhea, sore throat, runny/stuffy nose, etc. — Please isolate yourself and call Public Health or go to your nearest assessment centre.

You will receive an email with clear instructions on how to prepare for your appointment.

Please read it carefully and if you have any questions please call us to clarify.

If you present to the clinic with any of the above-mentioned symptoms, we will not be able to continue with your appointment. We are sorry about this. This is the new reality we are dealing with.

We thank you for your contribution in stopping the spread of COVID-19.

Warm regards,

Clinic manager
